A dissertation chapter that turned into a conference presentation that evolved into a journal article has finally been published in the European Journal of American Culture.<\/em><\/a> “A Woman and Her Truck: Pickups, the Woman Driver, and Cowgirl Feminism”<\/a> was inspired by a Chevy commercial<\/a> and a chance visit to the Cowgirl Hall of Fame<\/a> in Fort Worth. This article provided me with the opportunity to talk with 25 women from all over the US who are passionate about pickups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
